In addition, a part can have more detailed information stored with it in the form RTF (Rich Text Format) documents. Parts can be assigned any number of parametric data items which are displayed in a tool tip when using the schematic editor. Parts can also be associated with a SPICE model or sub circuit to make design simulation both straightforward and an intuitive part of the schematic capture process. (SPICE is scheduled to be shipped with Performance EDA in 2005).
